Kathleen O'Connor is President & Founder of Achieve Accreditation. She is proud to be celebrating her 35-year career anniversary in accreditation. She worked nearly a decade at The Joint Commission and has spent a combined total of 35-years guiding assisted living communities and skilled nursing providers with accreditation. Kathleen's career at The Joint Commission included: participating in the development of the standards and survey process, participating in the training of Joint Commission surveyors, and lecturing nationally on accreditation. As a highly regarded accreditation readiness expert, Kathleen participates in frequent speaking engagements at the individual states and national level. She holds a bachelor's degree in Health Care Management and a master's degree in Gerontology. Kathleen's most enjoyable part of working at Achieve Accreditation is watching a concept that was just "an idea" 35 years ago turn into a business mission that has the privilege to help make a difference in the senior living industry. Kathleen enjoys hiking, yoga, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
